Downtown Schenectady, much like the
population, has declined in recent decades but has started
to see a renaissance of sorts lately. Besides the new streetscape
itself, new restaurants are
popping up along with a new hotel and movie theater. Old businesses are
getting new
store fronts and only good things are happening in the coming years.
