Our Queen Anne

In February 2003, we bought an old house built in 1905.  It had been neglected for many years, and so the renovation began.

  Before and After
How we first saw this house. "Click for larger image"  One of the coldest, snowiest, winters ever. "Click for larger image"  Back of house. "Click for larger image"

Many hours spent hovering 35 feet in the air with a paintbrush attached to a stick painting and scraping all those dormers and only one broken window in the process.  A lot of hard work, sore feet, cussing, painting scraping, sanding, sawing, hammering, cleaning... I think it was all worth it.  And I now hate extension ladders.
