I've been real busy with work and other stuff the last couple of weeks but did manage to get a couple of road trips in.  Took a short one and ended up at a dam whose lake I've forgotten right now but it has giving me the idea to start a site of dams.  Oh well, I'll think about it.  Also visited family,  had dinner with Michael &  Lara, and had a great trip to Pisgah National Forest with Steve & Debbie for hiking and riding, two of my favorite things.  Also, my nephew is moving to Texas this weekend and I will truly miss him.

I just got back from New Orleans and Duncan should be back tomorrow morning.  It was a great time at a great place. If you can't find something to entertain you there, there's probably no hope for ya.  The new D-Day Museum is awesome and Bourbon St. is indescribable.  They've  got a great aquarium and I can't forget the riverboat ride.  The bars are open 24 hours, not something I'm used to here in Charlotte, so feel free to start bar hopping at 6:30 in the morning.  All this, plus great cemeteries, a road trip to Biloxi, and a great zoo to boot.
