Things I hate about moving:
1. MOVING
Things I love about moving:
1. Flying through a construction zone (no workers) in a giant
U-Haul listening to Guns and Roses' Paradise City at full blast.
That's right, we started moving yesterday
though the big move will be in two weeks. Any volunteers?

Sorry if you missed out on buying my house. A good deal was struck
today to take it off my hands. I thought it'd take much longer
than it did but at least I don't have to worry about keeping it spotless
anymore and dog can stay at home and
get her much needed 22 hours of sleep rather than coming to work with
me. Next Saturday is the big moving day, the day I will take
everything I have accumulated over the years, put it in a truck and haul
it far away. Saturday I will be
unemployed and in a new town. It'll be great because I'll be with
Duncan again.
For now, it's back to downloading music off Napster and burning CD's.

Today was kind of sad because I
started saying my good-byes. I really never even realized I cared
about so many people and vise versa. Tomorrow may be the
same. Thirty three boxes packed so far, probably that much more to
go tomorrow. Saying good-bye is never easy but a new world awaits.
Saying that , I must now go on
about the son-of-a-bitch I had lunch with today. It has been a
long time since I have actually heard a fag joke. Mind you, not
the kind of fag joke you and your friends tell each other, but the mean
spirited hurtful kind. I just sat there not believing what I was
hearing. The whole table was silent. I'm kinda mad at myself
for not saying anything but he was a client from out of town for the
company I work for and even though I'm leaving Friday, I thought I
shouldn't burn any bridges. I do think anybody to the highest
level would have not been mad had I told him off. It is a liberal
company where I work. Tomorrow is another day and telling him off
may be an option, but do I want to sink to his level? Considering
the hurt I felt when I finally had some time to myself today, I think it
might be. Oh yea. **Amended
Later**
Stevie Nicks & Cheryl Crow

Hey! We're here. It's still kind of messy or
I'd give you a look see. I actually have to cut grass today.
What's that all about? The Kaleb
seems very happy with her backyard though. Thanks to everybody who
helped us moved. We couldn't have done it without you. How
can somebody who supposedly doesn't care about "stuff" have so
much of it? More when we get a real internet connection.

All moved in. I'll be happy
if I never have to look at a box again. Have a look see at the
only thing I've done this week. You can click on pics for your
viewing pleasure.

I want to be sure to send thank to everybody
who helped us move on Saturday. Joe, Ray, Tommy, Nathan, &
Jennifer. We owe you big.
Good-bye old house.

Another birthday has come and
gone. Duncan's in Las Vegas so it was up to friends to come many
miles yesterday to take care of the birthday needs. I just
realized yesterday that I don't know a soul in this town.
Maybe that's something I need to work on in the next couple of
weeks. Today I went to Charlotte to pick up some odds and ends and
the aquarium and to take one last look at the old homestead. The fishes' home
already looks a lot better than in this picture. Don't worry, I'll
take care of them.

They said smile and put on the
goofiest face you possibly can, so I did. I was driving down the
street today and saw a driver's license office and thought I might as
well stop in a change my address. I think insurance should be
cheaper here. The strange thing was she told me my address rather
than me having to tell her. What's up with that? I've been
here less than two weeks. I also noticed she forgot to put in my
race. The reason for this was because I had on shorts. My
legs either blinded her so she could not see the space to type the race
or she just thought it wasn't necessary from looking at my legs.
Oh well, the good thing is I haven't changed much in the last 4
years. I did change a lot from the previous 4 years though.
Raleigh Weather:
Today we had a sunny, beautiful high of 84° about an hour ago. It
is now thunder storming and 62°. Tomorrow the temperature should
drop to an afternoon high of 47°. I hate cold but I love
NC. Variety is the spice of life.
Fishes' house looks better but
they've had a rough couple of days. Very high ammonia levels have
forced me into doctor mode. They survived the long move fine but
to much waste to soon. Some of those fish are more than 8 years
old and huge. Don't want to lose them now.
