Here are some of the pictures from our San Francisco trip in 2000.  This is a great city with so much to see you'd need a couple of years.

Here David pick's us up at the airport and during the week, shuttles us around for many miles.  It was great but I found that the best way to see the city was on foot, so that was my goal.  We choose not to do a bunch of touristy things, although we did do some.  In the center is a view from Twin Peaks, a large hill in the city which gives you a view from the whole city, and next is David and myself.

Duncan and myself, a great twilight view of the Pacific Ocean, and David rolling the film.

The Golden Gate Bridge and the us at the viewing area

The Pacific Ocean off the Panoramic Hwy and Castro St.

A streetcar, a great San Fran neighborhood, one of many, and a sucky picture of Alcatraz that I'm sitting here wondering why I put it here.

Me at Fisherman's Warf, and the sea lions, and Chinatown.

David, myself and Duncan in front of David's favorite restaurant, Tads, and David with Dan and Jamie on our last night in San Fran in the Castro.

This is what we saw and did plus a whole lot more.  We did whole lot of walking, probably a hundred miles a day, yea that's it.  I liked San Francisco, you can get almost anywhere without a car but it's good to have one.  Cable cars, streetcars, buses, and feet.  I liked the diverse neighborhoods and just the feel of many of them and although there are many homeless people, they don't really bother you a lot.  I will visit San Francisco again and hope to have even more fun.  Special thanks to David for his great hospitality and for the great tours of the city and surrounding area, as well as bringing us to the sex bars and some great restaurants. We also took a side trip to Yosemite National Park, if you'd like to see some great pictures, go here.
